The Red Thread: Where Art Meets the Everyday
A space for creativity, attention, and the art of everyday life
I’ve always lived in tension between order and art. I studied art history, then built a career managing operations in an online company — deep in structure, KPIs, budgets, and spreadsheets. Later came marriage and motherhood, two roles that stretched my sense of creativity in ways I never expected. None of it made sense together at first, but a pattern slowly appeared — a red thread pulling me forward.
For me, that red thread was curiosity. I’ve come to believe that creativity begins with curiosity — about how we make things, make meaning, and connect with others. It doesn’t belong only to art.
This journal is my way of exploring that idea.
I write about art, motherhood, work, and the small, everyday acts of creation that shape who we are. Each piece begins with something ordinary — a painting, a walk, a conversation — and follows it toward a larger question: how can we live more attentively, and make our days feel intentional and alive?
Because I’ve learned that structure and creativity can coexist, and that curiosity — when followed — makes life fuller, richer, and more meaningful.
If you’re drawn to finding beauty in structure, to the space where art meets the everyday, you’ll feel at home here.
